Alexander Tamahn is a Tulsa-based multidisciplinary artist renowned for his vibrant public artworks and community impact. A Texas native, Tamahn grew up in Grand Rapids and Chicago, where his love for and ethos behind public art developed. His works, featured on building facades, in galleries, and private collections nationwide, merge creative expression with positive social impact. With a background in adolescent addiction counseling and community development, Tamahn dedicates much of his practice to empowering BIPOC youth through art. His work has been showcased on HGTV, DIY networks, and in various publications. As a Black queer artist, he collaborates with national and global brands to elevate various communities of marginalized experience. Currently, he explores performance artistry as a pole dancer, fostering authenticity and self-nurturance in audiences engaged with his work.
